The scope of Social Media becomes crucial as it helps the business to directly engage with their needs and wants.
I keep in mind that different social platforms serve different audiences — the Instagram audience might have a completely different demographic to the followers on Facebook.

The Design Process

Step 1. Identifying the main goals
Should first of all think about the business goals and what is hoping to accomplish. Is it to drive more viewers to your profile to get more followers? Or maybe want to prompt a click-through on the website, or invite the viewers to shop on Instagram?

Step 2. Identifying the targeted social media platforms.
Different social platforms serve different audiences — the Instagram audience might have a completely different demographic to FB’s followers.
For that reason, I consider each social media platform, along with the campaign goals, to get the ad format, design, and concept right! -
Step 3. Come up with more than one ideas and sketches
Presenting these ideas and sketches for the performance marketing manager and discussing which might fit our aim more.

Step 4. Produce A/B test versions
The main advantage to adverts via social media channels is the ability to check and test how the Ads performing. This is why it is important to come up with A/B versions for the chosen idea, in order to be able to know which is better hence go with it.
